Our client is a rapidly growing and profitable solutions provider in the financial services sector with ambitious growth plans, who now seek a high calibre FD to develop and oversee the finance function for this fast paced high volume B2C business.
The role will be focussed on providing sound strategic financial management whilst providing reliable and timely financial information. With this it is essential that you drive substantial improvements to the financial control and risk framework to accommodate the increasing challenges being placed on the business.
By providing effective leadership and management, you will develop more efficient and productive working practices throughout the finance and associated departments whilst enabling greater responsibility and accountability. Creating a happy but driven performance focussed finance team, you wherever necessary will look to develop the skill-sets of all direct and indirect reports.
There will be a heavy emphasis on optimising the use of IT systems to enable more efficient and better working practices which will reduce business, and operational risks and costs. Accordingly you will drive system development to increase efficiency, better cash flow management, improve financial control and manage change.
An ACA or similar, with at least 5 years practical experience in an FD or similar position within a fast growth, preferably volume processing financial services, credit management, support services, utility provider or legal related company.
