Our client is an established firm of accountants with a wide and varied client base covering numerous industries and business entities.
Having achieved a great deal of success over the last few months an exciting and new position has been created for a Senior Accountant to join their team.
Reporting directly to a Partner the Senior Accountant will act as the first point of contact for a client portfolio of SME's with turnovers to c£40m.
The successful candidate will provide a variety of accounting services to their client portfolio ranging from audits to accounts preparation and associated business development services.
Ideal applicants will be either competent ACA/ACCA part qualified accountants through to newly qualified ACA/ACCA accountants. Alternatively our client will consider applications from established Senior Accountants looking for career progression within a forward thinking and dynamic accountancy practice.
Previous experience of audits and leading smaller audits is essential as is the ability to manage/supervise more junior members of staff.
This exciting opportunity is approximately 40% audit based and will provide the successful applicant with a significant amount of commercial exposure to an exciting client base including many entrepreneurial business leaders.
