An ambitious professional is needed to work for a UK insurance powerhouse during an exciting time of business transformation. The Business Change division is currently seeking a Finance Manager to take ownership of the whole budget in a scheduling and reporting function.
Your responsibilities will be:
Resource forecasting across Business Change to ensure the area is able to provide an optimum mix of skills and resources ready for future demand.
You will be expected to take ownership of of the Business Change budget and finances, including setting the 5 year budget and forecast reporting
Ensure employees are scheduled to projects as appropriate
Hiring of permanent and contractor staff to meet demand requirements
Maintain up to date and relevant Business Change Strategic and Operating Plan that contributes to the success of the business
Maintain the Business Change Scheduling and Reporting Team.
Also to include:
Demand Forecasting and Scheduling - identify and prioritise demand, ensure all teams are aware of the portfolio of work and pipeline at all times
Recruitment, On boarding and Induction - Owning the selection process, setting of annual recruitment plan, work closely with leadership team to understand resourcing aspirations.
People Matters - Ensure organisation design and learning and development activities reflect the strategic plan, running the performance management for this area, maintain and up to date view on people including headcount, structure charts, role profiles
Finance Manager - Reporting & Scheduling for Change projects
As an individual you should have:
Strong relevant experience with a large company insurer
A degree in a mathematical/science subject or equivalent and accountancy qualifications
Excellent communication, presentation and development skills
Ability to manage stakeholders
Experience of project accountancy and reporting on large programmes and portfolios
