Our client is an Independent firm based in Leicester.
What they need is somebody to come on board as a manager /PA to one of the Partners with a view to becoming a Partner and then creating a strategy for further succession so that in time the Partners will be able to retire.
A major part of the role initially will be to take control of managing the office, being a main point of contact for clients, ensuring that everything runs according to plan. They are also interested in bringing in someone who is experienced at being more proactive with clients and perhaps identifying situations which have not previously been considered.
They are a small firm that needs modernising with for example the development of a website and the Partners are open to ways of improving efficiencies etc and expect that this will be an area of interest to anyone coming on board.
The client base is dealing with sole traders, partnerships and limited companies with turnover being up to c£8m and typically being a lot lower. The services provided to clients are in respect of audit which is limited, accountancy, taxation and business advisory.
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- A UK Practice background with general practice experience dealing with Owner Managed Businesses.
- Currently a manager or perhaps salaried partner with a lack of progression in your current firm.
- Ideally already have experience in business development.
