Global engineering organisation based on the outskirts of Slough, Berkshire have an opening for a Group Internal Audit Manager. Reporting to the CEO your key responsibility is to provide a full professional global internal audit service for the Group.
As the Group Internal Audit Manager you will have responsibility for a small team to oversee annual audit plans, evaluate budget and time requirements and ensure that segment-level and departmental employees allocate proper resources for testing and reviewing. You will also assign tasks to staff and ensure that employees follow generally accepted auditing standards (GAAP) when reviewing operating controls, policies and processes. You will also review staff work, follow up with management on significant control problems and issues a report to the company's top leadership and audit committee.
The ideal Group Internal Audit Manager will be a qualified accountant with previous experience of working in a global company ideally within an engineering or technical organisation who has good leadership skills and in return you will receive a salary of between £80k-£90k (includes car allowance) + large bonus + excellent other benefits. Expected travel will be in the region of 50%
