Financial Controller opportunity to join our client, an innovative international industrial product manufacturer and distributor based in North London/Hertfordshire. As a result of expansion they seek an ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified Financial Controller to manage and develop the business finances and support the owner/Managing Director. The business which has a turnover of c. £20m has a presence in 7 countries and offers good future prospects for the successful applicant. 

This new Financial Controller role will look after all financial operations, including management and financial reporting (group and company); annual budgeting; audit preparation/liaison; monitoring and improving financial systems, controls and procedures; cash, treasury and working capital management, liaising with bank and investors and fulfilling the company’s statutory obligations.  Supported by a team of 3, the Financial Controller will also lead the drive to reduce costs and increase profitability through strong commercial knowledge and business acumen and improving management information and reporting.   

Naturally you will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent, commercial and pragmatic and have the ability to work alongside the business owner and provide sound financial advice and support.  Prior financial control experience is essential as is a track record of achievement at a senior level within a commercial environment.
