The Technology Division is responsible for setting the Technology Strategy for the BBC and delivers on projects of all sizes up to and including multi-million pound technology infrastructure and software projects. The Division ensures the IT and telephone infrastructure availability for all BBC platforms and systems and keeps our radio and news channels on air and on-line.
You’ll provide financial advice, assistance & support to the Finance Manager in the management of the Technology Framework Contract, including management of monthly Financial Accounts (approx. £235m per annum), and engage with Key Suppliers & internal stakeholders (divisional FM’s) as required. This will include Production, Analysis, Interpretation and Reconciliation of monthly Sales reports distributed across the business divisions to support reporting & decision making. You’ll have ownership of the disputes & withholdings process with responsibility for resolution with supplier & reporting to the business.
You will be an action orientated, commercially focused individual with experience of providing financial support and liaison to a variety of levels of management and teams. As a part qualified accountant, you will have well developed analytical and technical financial skills and a track record of solving complex problems.
