The role of Manager would specifically be to manage a varied portfolio of general commercial and charity clients primarily for the Resident Partner, but there will be some management of London Partner work which is managed and performed locally.  The position may also involve a number of one-off assignments and special work.  We are able to offer a dynamic workload and the opportunity for progression for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be an outgoing and resilient self-starter, highly driven with aspirations of moving to a Senior Manager role in the within the next one to three years.  They must have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. The role will require an extremely high level of ability and commitment, with the flexibility to work within a small office and a larger firm. The individual will have the opportunity to be able to develop their marketing skills and the ability to generate new business.  Candidates should be self-motivated, display a positive approach to work and have the ability to get things done.  In addition, they should possess the confidence and professionalism to establish credibility at all levels, be commercially minded and have a clear perception of client requirements and to ensure that service delivery is of the highest standard.

Applicants should be ACA/ACCA qualified with a good exam record and relevant experience as an effective Supervisor or Manager.  The successful candidate is likely to have a general practice background and should have been involved in all areas of advice.  They should have experience of managing a client portfolio and have had exposure to management of a team.  The systems used in the accounting and audit fields are Excel, Viztopia and Caseware and candidates are expected to have excellent IT skills.
