You will also be heavily involved in key business projects looking at profitability, the sustainable operating model and coordinating the periodic post investment appraisal of all major change projects.
With significant PQE, relevant FP&A experience in a large, complex business covering the "big picture" view of a businesses financial performance (P&L/Balance Sheet and Cash).
Ideally you will be ACA (Big 4 trained) or CIMA qualified with first time passes, along with an excellent academic record.
The role has two highly capable and intelligent direct reports who require a line manager to provide careful coaching and support and to continue to enable their progression. A large part of the role will be co-ordinating the planning activities across the rest of the finance function. This requires detailed planning, organisation and above all communication - the candidate will demonstrate clear leadership qualities and be able to articulate past experience of influencing and engaging multiple stakeholders successfully.
The culture is friendly and at times informal and the successful candidate will be expected to fit well within this culture whilst demonstrating the gravitas and authority that is inherent with the seniority of the role.
