The role will have varied responsibilities including: managing the monthly reporting process; improving management accounting practices; strengthening the control environment; analysing in-year budget performance and providing secretariat duties to support the Assembly Members’ Pension Scheme.
You will be particularly adept at interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers. You will be adaptable and proactive in applying your financial experience to deliver high standards of financial management across the Assembly Commission, so ensuring effective stewardship of public funds and contributing to the Commission’s goals in supporting the National Assembly for Wales.
