My client based in South Devon is currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant. You will be a motivated self-starter, with either an ACCA or CIMA qualification and preferably 3-5 years post-qualification experience. You will have a high level of personal energy, be analytical and adaptable whilst being willing to challenge the status quo. An effective approach to problem solving is also essential. Main duties and responsibilities include:
· Support the Head of Finance in all areas
· Prepare and submit weekly reports to Senior Management
· Prepare and submit client reports as and when required
· Prepare management accounts and report pack for review by Head of Finance
· Seek comments from management about potential improvements
· Produce annual budget and reforecast and analysis
· Check and review weekly payroll
· Maintain factoring account records and submit reconciliations
· Provide relevant financial information and support wherever required, whether on a regular or ad hoc basis so as to facilitate substantive strategic and commercial decision-making
· Support accounts colleagues in their roles and provide cover in case of absence
