Head of Financial Planning & Analysis
The Institute of Cancer Research is a world-class cancer research organisation. In the 2008 Higher Education Funding Councils' Research Assessment Exercise, The ICR received the highest percentage of research assessed as world leading in the areas of biological sciences and cancer studies. In partnership with The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, they form the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe, dedicated to research that extends from epidemiology, genetics and molecular biology, through drug discovery and development, to cancer diagnosis and patient treatment. This makes ICR uniquely placed to work towards their vision that people may live their lives free from the fear of cancer as a life threatening disease.
Having outstanding individuals committed to best practice will only aid ICR in achieving their goals and new positions have been created to help their finance function operate a more of a business partner.
