Goodman Masson are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join one of our clients on a contract basis for 12 months based in Watford.
Duties include -
* Processing high volumes of invoices for payment on a weekly basis
* Receive, input and distribute invoices and requisitions for goods and services
* Posting batches of invoices for date entry
* Verify bone fide transactions have been appropriately authorised
* Aid cheque runs
* Ensuring all contract terms of payment are met
* Prepare vendor cheques for mailing
* Assist with daily reconciliations
* Investigate variances and anomalies identified
The successful candidate must have -
* Proven ability to deal with large volumes
* Excellent numeracy and literacy
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
