A Financial Analyst is required for a very fast growing niche financial services / technology business. The company operate a range of bespoke payment solutions for their clients that can be tailored to their individual needs. They were established a little over 4 years ago and already employ almost 50 people; they count a range of Blue-Chip and international companies as their clients and are currently pitching to several others. Such is their potential that they were acquired by a US-listed business earlier in 2012 and have significant resources and backing to ensure their expansion plans come to fruition.
The Financial Analyst will work alongside the Head of Finance and their responsibilities will cover all aspects of the financial operations of the company. The role has been created by company expansion and specific duties will include:
· Design & implementation of a suite of KPI’s to drive decision making.
· Delivery of commercial modelling & pricing analysis to support key commercial decisions for bespoke / recurring client requests
· Provision of accurate budgeting, forecasting & re-forecasting information.
· Training and development of a member of staff.
· A range of ad hoc and commercial project s.
Candidates for this Financial Analyst role must be qualified accountants (ideally ACA) and the role will suit those who have qualified in a Top-30 practice. Your interpersonal & communication skills will be excellent and you will enjoy working with non-finance people and at Board level. You will enjoy problem solving and getting involved in the detail; you must also be resourceful & accurate. Strong Excel skills (ideally with some modelling or SQL experience) are preferred.
