We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Manager for our Milton Park site. Our publishing companies operate largely autonomously with certain functions including Finance, provided at group level.
This is an exciting opportunity as you will hold responsibility for the Group Purchase Ledger function. This will involve restructuring the department, defining and implementing processes and developing a can-do, customer-centric team culture.
You will manage a team of six ultimately ensuring the efficient and effective processing and payment of all invoices. This will involve regular supplier reconciliations, chasing authorisation and preparation of weekly payment runs. You will also be responsible for the reporting of ageing creditors, KPIs and invoices on hold/in query.
Your team management responsibilities will include both the training and development of your team.
It is expected the successful applicant will have previously worked in a shared service environment at this level, have strong SAP experience and be a proven effective team manager.
