Taking on a different challenge every day, you’ll carry out a huge variety of internal audits on activities across Scope.
About the role
You’ll be joining a well-respected team whose focus is on assurance. Working in an exceptionally collaborative environment, you’ll create test plans and carry out audits on everything from payroll provision and financial management to contracts of IT supply and vehicle leasing. Wherever your projects take you, you’ll work with managers and staff alike to understand their processes, assess risks and suggest any improvements. We’ll also look to you to develop and mentor our volunteer auditors who help us audit our high street shops.
An experienced internal auditor, you combine adaptability and flexibility with outstanding analytical skills. You know how to write reports and deliver audit assignments that meet both customer expectations and professional standards. Able to quickly identify and resolve problems, you’re also comfortable establishing credibility, earning trust and building relationships at all levels. An IIA or CAAB qualification would prove a real asset, and you must be willing to travel occasionally to sites across the UK when the role requires.
Scope exists to bring about changes that will help create a society where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. We do this by influencing and raising awareness, and by providing a wide range of services and information for disabled people and their families. We are committed to equal opportunities. We particularly welcome applications from disabled people and guarantee interviews to suitably qualified disabled applicants.
