A global blue chip FMCG business is seeking a commercial finance analyst to support the commercial finance manager in pricing, investment analysis, decision support to commercial teams.
The commercial finance analyst will drive understanding and focus on performance within customer teams to ensure delivery of annual targets. The analyst will use insightful analysis to identify business opportunities for the business unit (e.g. Variance Analysis, Investment Efficiency Analysis, Trend Analysis).
The commercial finance analyst will be responsible to drive profitability, identify risks and provide commercial decision support to the sales and marketing directors and their teams.
Furthermore, the role will support ad hoc project work for new market initiatives or new product areas.
The commercial finance analyst must be accountancy qualified, have strong analytical and technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will be able to easily build relationships with both key finance and non finance stakeholders. Experience within FMCG, retail or leisure industries is essential.
