A global Media company need a fantastic Management Accountant to join their Finance Team based in West London on a 6 month FTC!!

Key Account abilities include:

1.Produce timely, accurate and high quality monthly reports for group consolidation.
2.Review and complete commentary and variance analysis for assigned divisions; ensure appropriate challenge/supporting analyses to ensure full understanding of divisional performance.
3.Maintain up to date commercial knowledge of the Entertainment & Media market and understand impacts on divisional results.
4.Co-ordinate and maintain monthly divisional meetings; and ensure clear communication of group process and time lines.
5.Work closely with divisions to improve cash flow and balance sheet management; review process, making recommendations for improvement and implement as appropriate.
6.Consolidate group forecasts/budgets and supporting analyses as appropriate to deadline;
7.Identify and make recommendations to group reporting processes.
8.Support the statutory reporting process or technical accounting issues as may be required from time to time.
9.Provide IT support to Group and divisional finance; maintain master data; authorise and liaise with IT on account set-up.
10.Ad hoc work as required by the Senior Management Accountant, Senior Commercial Analyst or Head of Group FPO&A and Consolidation from time to time.


Experience/Skills required:

1.Qualified accountant with experience gained in a commercial environment.
2.Experience of reporting and consolidations in a complex multinational is a requirement for the role.
3.Experience and understanding of financial systems/software, advanced Excel skills; experience of SAP/BW would be an advantage.
4.Interest in the Entertainment & Media sector coupled with robust analytical skills; previous media experience would be an advantage.
5.Strong and current knowledge of applying UK GAAP and IFRS in practice.
6.Ability to use initiative, anticipate issues and develop common sense, practical solutions to deliver high quality output to tight deadlines.
7.Confident team player with strong influencing, facilitation and communication skills.
8.Proactive and self motivated with strong organisation skills.
