A fantastic opportunity has arisen with this global payment company in its Basildon office for an Accounts Assistant. This company is undergoing a period of rapid expansion and growth and this position is a great starting point for someone who wants to develop their career in an accounts function. This role is responsible for raising and recording of all manual invoices and dealing with all of the Accounts Receivable administration for 4 different entities.
Duties and responsibilities will include the following
- Generate manual sales invoices
- Liaise with key account managers
- posting of sales invoices
- Investigate and resolve queries
- Assist in the development and implementation of new projects and developments
- Supporting the shared service manager
The successful candidate will also be responsible for covering some purchase ledger duties and dealing with staff expenses.
This would be an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate with a relevant degree in Finance or Accountancy who has some experience and is keen to progress and learn in a fast paced and growing accounts environment. Experience in sales and purchase ledger would be essential but the most important attribute is a lively and enthusiastic personality and a willingness to learn combined with a pro-active approach.
Good communication skills and the ability to build good relationships are essential for this role and it also offers the opportunity for someone keen to continue with their accountancy studies.
