As Capital Manager with One Housing Group you will operate in a senior management role working closely with executive level colleagues in the Treasury and Business Planning functions.
Key aspects of the post will involve managing, recording and reporting on a wide range of capital transactions within the Group.

The Capital, Treasury and Business Planning functions work as an integrated team and there is cross functional working and reporting lines. This role is key to the completion of all capital matters and operates as a conduit between Business Planning and Treasury for the completion of such related responsibilities.
As Capital Manager with two direct reports and informal reporting lines to two other positions, you will play a strategic finance role with prime responsibilities that include:
- The preparation of the regular properties notes in the statutory accounts
- Managing the annual impairment exercise at regular intervals throughout the year
- Ensuring the accurate forecasting, budgeting and recording of all capital assets and liabilities on the Group’s balance sheet including interest and overhead capitalisation
Maintenance of the monthly development cash flows and other capital related items such as depreciation, disposal of assets and asset tenure changes within the Group.
Ideally possessing some social housing experience and a background in Financial accounting and IFRS impacts, you must have excellent team management skills and the ability to nurture close working relationships across the business, including the finance function, the wider Financial Services department and the Development team. This is a role that will suit a person looking to work on a 4 day week basis and who can demonstrate:
- Relevant qualification - CCAB /ACA/ACCA/CIPFA/CIMA
- Experience of Capital Accounting and Development Finance
