Further information

Our client is an international Tax advisory Partnership with a growing Transfer Pricing (TP) practice. They offer a wide-ranging service, from benchmarking and documentation up to highly technical Economic analysis and advice - pure Transfer Pricing.

The team has an excellent compliment of junior Economists and a good number of top level members, however there is a definite need for a Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have solid TP experience, either as part of a specialist TP team or an International Tax group. Just as crucial to the success of this appointment is for someone to join who can be a positive influence not only on the junior team members but also to the internal networking and external business development of the team.

Progression will depend on your success in helping to develop the junior Economists so that they can move up to a Manager position, thus pushing on your own career to Senior Manager. The size of the team and the growth in its revenues mean they you would not be confronted by a bottle-neck of Managers when seeking promotion - but another consequence is that the Manager job has great autonomy and responsibility in equal measure, hence it is not appropriate for someone who is comfortable servicing a steady portfolio of work but who does not enjoy the networking side of professional services.
