Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK (LTLGS) is seeking an assertive and experienced Cost Accountant to join their busy finance department.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik AG, LTLGS is a leader in the repair and overhaul of aircraft landing gear, flap tracks and carriages and landing gear related components. LTLGS's purpose built facility is just 15 minutes from Heathrow and is one of the most modern landing gear shops in the world. The business has steadily increased its product range and has created a very broad global customer base.

You will be responsible for liaising with internal colleagues and departments to determine costs and margins on products. You will also carry out financial reporting and analysis for several departments and drive the development of new cost accounting processes and procedures. This will be in addition to handling month-end closings including journal entry, reconciliation and intercompany.  Whilst providing support to the finance management and production management teams, you will also liaise frequently with workshop staff in order to accurately meet objectives.

The successful candidate will either be a qualified, strong part-qualified or a qualified-by-experience accountant with substantial previous experience of cost accounting in a relevant manufacturing sector.  The right person will also possess superb communication skills and be able to interact confidently with a wide variety of individuals and departments on a daily basis. LTLGS are seeking an individual who will drive the department's business objectives and fit in with a friendly and committed team.
