Finance Manager

Working within the Finance department of a listed, global insurance firm this role will provide leadership, direction and support to the shared service team, both in the UK and to the overseas offices.

The role will oversee the preparation of internal and external reports for the department, including the group statutory accounts and interim statements, subsidiary companies statutory accounts, monthly management information packs, tax computations, VAT returns, plus other ad hoc project work. In addition, this position will supervise a sizable team, who are responsible for the production of all shared service accounts for a number of regions.

The role will be responsible for the development of the department`s analytical skills and analytical reports for the implementation and maintenance of a sound system of controls and for the introduction of process improvements across all entities.

The ideal candidate will have a number of years of post qualified experience working within group finance or a shared service division of a financial services firm.
