To confidently use statistic software tools to assess risk. The successful candidate will be able to create stochastic simulations in Excel and other soft wares like @Risk or SAS. He/she will independently collect data from the relevant departments (Marketing, Hedging, Controlling, Data Mining) and compute the analysis required by the MD to provide pricing strategies, statistical margins, business analysis, risk models.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Create risk models based on stochastic simulations.
Create pricing structures and strategies for products for B2B and B2C.
Define and keep updated the risk profile of all products providing a combined risk profile for the group.
Cooperate in the placement of multimillion Capital Market and Insurance transaction being responsible for the internal model.
Cooperate on business planning providing support for statistical margin computation.
You may be asked to travel to suppliers¡¦ overseas offices to help support team activities and build a strong team spirit
Essential skills and attributes:
Education: Ph.D or MSc in Mathematics or Statistics from a well-respected university.
Exceptional analytical ability, excellent attention to detail and confidence working with numbers.
Exceptional skills in the area of stochastic simulations in Excel. Knowledge of @Risk or/and SAS is a plus.
Previous experience in Gambling, Insurance or Capital Market sector is desirable.
Possess the ability draw meaningful conclusions from data.
Ability to think and act fast under pressure and work to strict deadlines
An independent thinker with the ability to contribute novel and innovative ideas.
Self-motivated and comfortable working flexibly, alone or as part of a team
Have strong communication skills and be able to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
Good team player, able to work with multiple business units to achieve objectives.
Strong IT skills; particularly Excel. Knowledge of the software @Risk is desirable.
Strong organisation and planning skills.
