We are looking for a qualified accountant to head up the group accounting function.You will report directly to the group chairman. You will be responsible for producing statutory accounts under UK GAAP for UK group and associated companies, and you will liaise with the auditors and tax advisors. You will also produce company and group budgets, forecasts and management accounts and will attend quarterly board meetings and have an input into the strategic planning of the group. You will also be responsible for secretarial services and treasury management along with monthly payroll, VAT and CIS returns. You will also undertake various ad hoc and due diligence assignments.
You will be a fully qualified accountant with strong technical skills and a track record of financial accounting. You will be flexible, self motivated and with an ability to work to deadlines. Property sector experience is desirable.
