Transport for London has an ambitious Business Plan which will deliver numerous improvements to London’s transport over the next 10 years. An opportunity has arisen to support the newly created Commercial Development Directorate which is responsible for generating TfL’s non-fares revenue (i.e. income not related to customers’ fares) by reviewing how TfL can maximise the earning potential of its assets through property, land, advertising, car parks, retail and station development. This role is critical in reviewing and supporting Commercial Development contracts to ensure that the costs and risks are minimised and revenue opportunities are maximised.
This role requires the ability to maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders within TfL, the GLA and its Functional Bodies and market specialists to harness relevant expertise to maximise TfL’s earning potential. This role is an exciting opportunity to assess the financial aspects of the commercial relationships that exist to help shape and deliver the future of TfL non-fares revenue.
