ABPM as experts in financial recruitment are currently working with a Birmingham based distribution company to recruit a management accountant.
This organisation have experienced a number of acquisitions over the past few years and are continuing their expansion.
This role would suit a candidate who is part or fully qualified and has proven experience within a management accounts position (distribution sector experience is advantageous).
The individual must be strong on excel, have good communication skills, be highly organised and able to meet tight deadlines.
The incoming candidate will have the following duties:
Bank reconciliations
Maintenance of the fixed asset register
Cash flow forecasting
Budgeting
Journals
Month end variance analysis
Quarterly VAT returns
Accruals and pre-payments
Assisting auditors with year end accounts queries
