As the Finance Analyst you will lead the documentation and design of the London corporate office accounting system including the takeover of this accounting function from the Group, system identification requirements and implementation;
Prepare fit for purposes accounting manual, monthly and quarterly reporting procedures and templates that will be used across the new group whilst managing and controlling the consolidation system to be used for monthly and quarterly reporting once this has been set up.
You will also document the group finance function roles and responsibilities in sufficient detail to comply with IPO financial reporting procedures and design new group templates for quarterly, interim and full year market reporting. The ability to also design and document a proposed fit for purposes new group central treasury policy and to similarly produce a Central tax function policy and procedure manual will be required. Other IPO activities may be requires such as working capital report, treasury functional support etc.

Have excellent communication skills to communicate technical information to diamonds management and other stakeholders in a comprehensive manner
The role is ideal for a newly qualified accountant seeking industry experience. Candidates with transaction and/or reporting experience will be well regarded as will previous exposure to the natural resources industry.
You must possess a finance/accounting qualification, preferably ACA with 1st time passes a
2:1 in degree or equivalent and have experience in management reporting, external financial reporting and IFRS.
