Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance

The Claude Littner Business School (CLBS), an exciting and innovative new School within the University of West London, will be formally launched in September 2014. Building upon the University’s Ambition: 2018 strategic plan, the school will be at the heart of the vision to develop career-focused innovative professionals supported by exceptional business/industry links which maintain a strong regional identity and produce research which focuses on current community and business needs.
In preparation for the launch of the School we wish to appoint at least five exceptional individuals at lecturer or senior lecturer within the area of accounting and finance. We would like to speak to people who are entrepreneurial, committed and ambitious with the academic and professional credibility to develop our reputation within industry, both nationally and internationally.
Candidates must have a degree (ideally at postgraduate level) in a relevant subject and a PhD/DBA or equivalent professional qualification. For the more senior posts, you will have significant experience of teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
It is expected that appointment within a grade will normally be at the minimum point on the following salary scales:
Lecturer: £36,907 to £42,252 per annum
Senior Lecturer: £43,394 to £48,399 per annum
