The Operations Co-ordinator will provide the key pivotal conduit between the external logistics providers, internal user groups, and Customers as applicable to ensure a smooth running, accurate, and timely service contributing to enhanced Customer satisfaction.
The role holder will also provide key operational and administrative support in relation to the new Sub-Contractor on-boarding process supporting both the Purchasing Manager and Commercial Manager as required.
Pull together incoming delivery details and liaise with the logistics providers Notify outgoing delivery requirements, including placement of Purchase Orders as appropriate, to the logistics providers highlighting degrees of urgency.
Update internal stakeholders regarding delivery information including potential delays.
Provide stock update information and co-ordinate other requests for information as required.
Assist the Purchasing Manager in monitoring the performance of the logistics providers in meeting SLAs and KPI targets.
