Due to continued business growth organically and by acquisition ForFarmers are relocating their office from Ipswich to new purpose built offices in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Accounts Receivable Controller role working within a fast-paced and high volume accounts receivable department, you will provide administration support to both the Account Receivable and Credit Control teams.
This will include processing and allocating various methods of payments (BACs, Cheques, Direct Debits and Debit/Credit cards); opening and distributing daily post; managing the flow of department emails to ensure the correct action is taken; answering enquiries in a timely and efficient manner; investigating, recording and answering requests for query solutions from customers and/or internal departments; and maintaining relevant paperwork and filing.
The successful candidate will possess accounts receivable experience or transferable administrative skills gained within a busy process driven environment. Strong attention to detail, an investigative mind-set and the ability to work under pressure in an accurate and timely manner will be key. A professional, friendly and diplomatic customer-focused approach will be essential combined with an excellent telephone manner. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is required along with an enthusiastic approach to learning new systems and processes.
