The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Financial Management, the post-holder will work in a team of five who act as Business Partners, providing timely support to budget holders. There is a strong team in place with a well-established collaborative and friendly culture. Together they provide helpful and timely information to budget holders. They assist budget holders in understanding and making use of this information in their decision making. Regular reporting will include management accounts, cost reports, forecasts and budgets. Ad hoc financial analysis to support new developments, investment decisions or changes in the business also form an essential part of the work of the team. You will specifically be responsible for two cost centres (Finance and HR) and you will also assist more experienced members of the team with the production of more complex management information for other budget managers. What you’ll need to succeed:

This role will suit a qualified accountant or finalist who is planning to qualify relatively quickly. You will have a positive attitude with an eagerness to learn and develop your career to the next level. You will be an excellent communicator, both written and verbally, with an ability to effectively interact with non-financial managers to provide financial advice. Ideally you will also have intermediate to advanced excel skills.
