Who we are looking for

You’re someone who’s able to look at our IT, Finance and HR functions and offer the kind of financial support that will challenge and stretch our performance. You’ll need substantial experience in a similar role to give you the credibility and gravitas you’ll need to shape our future.

A bit about the role
You’ll help inform the decision-making process across all manner of topics: from looking at costs across HR, to reviewing bonus programs and putting together business cases for new systems, such as our tills in-store. Your thorough leadership will deliver best-in-class solutions that will ensure effective return on investment and drive value for money. You’ll:

  • provide accurate and insightful financial analysis
  • create concise, informed business cases with clear recommendations
  • prepare thorough budgets and forecasts
  • partner with global leads and executive directors to deliver PBIT and capex targets
  • foster strong stakeholder and supplier relationships.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • a financial qualification (ACA/ACMA/ACCA)
  • a successful track record of supporting an operational director or business unit with business analysis and investment decisions
  • strong analytical, forecasting, Excel, presentation and relationship-building skills
  • the ability to influence through fresh thinking and to champion new business initiatives
  • proven experience of delivering best practice and communicating complicated information in an easy-to-understand way.
