About the role
This Assistant Accountant for a private Equity firm based in Mayfair will be working closely with the Finance Manager and FC and will focus on: (But not limited to)
- Producing full management accounts
- Bank and card reconciliation
- Preparing invoices
- Liaising with the bank
- Managing the travel budget
- Month-end procedures including the bank reconciliation, P&L, and any other balance sheet reconciliations as and when required
- Submit account information to company accountants
- VAT returns
About the firm
This Leading Private Equity firm currently based in Mayfair has $100 billion in assets under management and specilise in infrastructure and real estate. Due to the launch of a new fund, a new Assistant Accountant role in the finance team has arisen. This is a role that will offer diversity and exposure. You will report directly into the senior accountant/Finance Manager.
The successful Assistant Accountant for this Private Equity firm in Mayfair is likely to be studying toward an ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification. Experience gained in a financial services or assets management environment would be desirable but not essential, as long as the candidate has a strong degree from a top 20 University. You will be a strong team player, be flexible, highly motivated, have good attention to detail, strong Excel skills and have excellent communication skills. A real interest in Financial Services and/or Private Equity is a must.
Package on offer
The package on offer for this assistant accountant role for a private equity firm in Mayfair is;
- £28,000- £32,000
- Study support package (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
