Interim Financial Accountant

This organisation is a major European business and is offering a role within the Financial Reporting Function that is critical to the Group as a whole.
This is a high profile role that will suit a technically minded qualified accountant and has significant interaction with the Head of Finance.
As the Interim Financial Accountant you will be required to join the existing finance team to take part in the production of divisional returns for submission to Group. You will also be required to act as the key Group Finance contact for the divisional statutory returns.
This role will involve reporting directly into the Head of Finance while also supporting the wider finance team on a daily basis, skill set wise this role will require an in depth technical understanding of financial reporting and statutory accounting as well as the ability to analyse and draw conclusions form prior year results.
This role will involve production of parts of the divisional statutory reports including analytical review and analysis of submissions for the relevant notes, obtaining explanations and understanding of the figures as well as acting as a point of quality control.

The successful Interim Financial Accountant is likely to be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with experience of financial reporting of a large multi-national business, either from industry or from practice. They will be intellectually inquisitive and technically strong, with good analytical skills and will have proactive problem solving capabilities. The candidate will be required to remain technically up to date in all areas of financial reporting.

Salary & Benefits
£2275-325 per day. Parking is available free of charge, alternatively the office is close to the train station and served by bus routes as well.
