Your new company 
H & M Ltd is a successful and progressive firm of chartered accountants and registered auditors established over 50 years ago. Based in the country town of Skipton, it is an expanding practice, with a large client base in the region. It consists of a dynamic team of 15 members of staff who work a mixture of full and part-time hours.  The majority of staff have been with the company for over 10 years, with four completing nearly 30 years of service. Within the team there is a mixture of chartered and chartered certified accountants.

Your new role 

The role is a senior and pivotal position within the business. You will be expected to manage a portfolio of clients, develop new business and manage the workflow to the team. This role is a partnership buy-in opportunity, the specifics of which will be discussed with each successful candidate. The role will require substantial amounts of contact with clients which are abundant and varied throughout the region, with a large contingent coming from the rural/agricultural sectors.

What you'll need to succeed 
You will need to be an experienced practice accountant with over 10 years’ experience. They are flexible on the background of the candidate in terms of the size of their previous firm and experience, however candidates who have worked on both accounts preparation and audits would be highly desirable. You should be commercially minded and comfortable speaking with clients on a regular basis.
