The Role

Robert Half are working exclusively with a national legal business to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk in Nottingham. This is an opportunity to join a growing team in a period of positive change.

Key responsibilities

  • Processing of all incoming invoices (coding, matching and batching)
  • Processing payment runs BACS and CHAPS
  • Allocating payments to the Purchase Ledger
  • Query resolution
  • Liaising with clients
  • Liaising with other departments
  • Reconciliations
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Supplier statement reconciliations

Your profile

Previous purchase ledger experience is essential and if you have experience working within a legal business it would be very beneficial. The candidate must be accurate and have strong IT skills, including MS Excel and MS Word. It is vital that you are a self-starter who has lots of initiative and possess a strong work ethic, always striving for success. Ideally you will be studying your AAT or have a degree in Finance and Accountancy.

Salary & Benefits

Up to £22000, contributory pension and 25 days holiday as standard.
