Accounts Payable Clerk (Law Firm)
Robert half finance and Accounting are teaming up with a market leading global law firm to find an experienced and proactive Purchase ledger clerk to join their Waterloo offices. In this role you will be exposed to new challenges daily to build up on your current experience and expand your skill-set. By joining a talented team you will also have the chance to build your professional network. As a result, the ideal candidate will be committed to excelling and going above and beyond in this role. The position is initially for 6 months but there may be an opportunity for the candidate to move around the finance team if they really perform and impress themselves.
As a purchase ledger you will be required to assist the accountant with the managing the invoices relating to the company sales. Other responsibilities include but not limited to be:
- Matching, batching and coding of invoices
- Posting invoices
- BACs payments for start to finish
- Bank and supplier reconciliations.
- Purchase ledger duties
- Dealing with internal and external client queries
- Previous experience as a Purchase ledger is beneficial.
- Good knowledge of Excel including the application of pivot tables and V-lookups.
- Good interpersonal skills, organisation skills and the ability to meet company deadlines.
- Accuracy with numbers
