Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner to join an exciting IT company experiencing huge growth based in Gloucestershire. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£45,000 - £60,000 plus excellent benefits

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Partnering with the Business Unit Directors to provide financial support, analysis and advice
  • To support the Business Unit Senior Team to ensure that decisions are made on accurate and timely information and sound financial advice
  • Ensure reporting is relevant, targeted and concise so that Management can receive a timely, focused & accurate view of Business Unit performance
  • Identify potential cost savings and operational efficiencies to enable Senior Management to improve company profitability
  • Prepare a monthly reporting pack to provide the Business Unit Director with actual performance versus target and lead indicators for future performance
  • Ensuring MI pack will include information on financial performance including KPIs, P&L and cost analysis including capital spend. It will include analysis of the sales pipeline and operational metrics such as WIP delivery. It may also include other financial or non-financial metrics
  • Work with the Business Unit Senior Team to identify and implement actions to ensure each practice meets its budget
  • Working with Finance and the Business Unit Senior Teams to prepare quarter end reporting and analysis
  • Support the Business Unit Directors in preparing for Quarterly Reviews with the Group CEO and CFO
  • Ensure direct costs are accurate and always current and that they are correctly populated in the system, to ensure all quotes and orders are accompanied by accurate margin analysis
  • Provide financial support to the Product Management within the business to ensure all product and partnership proposals are subject to rigorous commercial and financial review
  • Responsibility for Revenue and Direct Cost for both budgets and forecasts, ensuring that both the latest trends and the future expected trends on volume, prices and cost are accurately reflected




Person specification:
  • Either CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the business
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to present information in a concise and professional manner
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
