Robert Half are working in partnership with a global business based in Chippenham to recruit a Financial Controller. This role would suit someone from an SME background with experience of working in a varied and hands on role.


The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in an SME and will ideally have experience of acquiring new businesses. Reporting into the US you will be the primary point of contact in the UK so must be comfortable with providing reports to IFRS and UK GAAP standards.

Responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:
  • Managing the financial forecasts.
  • Identifying business opportunities.
  • Provide financial and managerial reports.
  • Managing the day to day accounting duties including treasury, revenue cycle, payroll and expenditure cycle.
  • Month end and year end accounts.
  • Managing the compliance processes.


This role would suit a qualified by experience or qualified accountant with previous experience in a similar role. You will be dynamic with strong communication skills and be commercially minded, helping to drive the business forward.

Salary & Benefits

Robert Half's client are offering a salary of £45,000 - £52,000 dependant on experience.
